Progress on all fronts

Eli’s baby quilt is progressing nicely due to the patience and positive teaching of my friend, Joe. I am finding I, myself, have more patience than I thought and am enjoying seeing such tangible results.

We have enjoyed time in Portland the last two weekends. One trip was to celebrate our 34th anniversary with an excellent dinner at Pho Van in the Pearl and 2nd row seats at Cats at the Schnitz. We’ve seen Cats before but this had to be the best with the cats dancing and singing down the stairs within our touch. Another visit was to see a French movie after which we had a spontaneous dinner with Scott and Jess in the Pearl. All very uplifting!
