A Miracle, Welcome, Eli!
Mr. Eli Guthrie Harrah arrived at 2:50 a.m. today, right on his due date! Bill & I were at the hospital at 12:30 a.m. and met the little fellow at about 4:30 a.m. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 20 1/2" long.
Jessica was amazing. She had been having strong back labor and no sleep for days, but she did everything with grace and smiles. Scott was a great and loving support. Both parents are so calm and thrilled.
I knew Eli would be gorgeous and that I might even be a little biased that way, but the fact of the matter is he is perfect. He has adorable features and such healthy coloring.
All four grandparents were there to savor the miracle, hold the baby, count the blessings.
Eli is a gift to all of us and I hope we will be a gift to him.
